The Linux Fix was founded in 2001 to serve the growing demand of Linux and Open Source software in business both large and small. By using low-cost open source software solutions, "TLF" became well-known and successful by saving small businesses thousands of dollars in software licensing fees, while providing better support and reliability.

A short time later The Linux Fix expanded its offerings to online services, beginning with Hosted Email for Small Business. With the expansion of its hosting network, The Linux Fix transitioned from being an integration-only provider to a full-services organization that could handle every aspect of our customer's needs. Soon we outgrew our home offices and moved operations into our custom colocation facility in 2004.

Now ten years later, from our offices in Troy, Michigan we’re proud to be going strong by providing world-class professional services, open source software support, and web hosting services for Fortune 500 corporations, small businesses, and individuals alike.
